To know more about precisely what went wrong, I’d need to play it myself, and no one at Forbes received a review copy, and suddenly with the release of Metal Gear Solid 5 it seems a lot lower on the priority list. Common complaints include a boring environment filled with too many tedious, repetitive tasks like collecting scrap metal and clearing out pockets of raiders. Mad Max, meanwhile, has a much more mixed smattering of ratings, one of the absolute best being IGN’s 8.5/10, but also suffering through downright brutal scores like a 6/10 from Gamespot and a 5/10 from Polygon. ![]() Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is currently enjoying a 95 Metascore and a host of perfect 10s. ![]()
